If you're wondering, yes, I was born with the middle name Orpheus.. lol
I'm 26 years old, raised in the Bay Area ( YAYYYYYY AREAAAA) and spending the rest of my 20s in LA.
From an early age and consistent recipient of my dad's "Filipino jokes", my entire life has always been about stories and punchlines. In middle school, I was heavily influenced by YouTube, practically breathing short films and skits on the platform and inspired to make my own accounts and create my own content.
By the time I graduated high school and decided to pursue college, I attended Columbia College Hollywood and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Filmmaking and emphasis in Editing and Directing.
Originally, I planned on only working in traditional media, but because of the pandemic, I found my way back into social media content, and became a TikTok/YouTube editor for Kyle Beats, creating weekly videos, ranging from 12-20 minutes long, and grabbing the attention of millions of viewers each month.
Utilizing my background in traditional filmmaking and the language of social media I grew up on, my responsibilities extended into becoming a producer of the channel, planning and filming videos with him while still being the sole post-production person behind the edits. We produced over 80 videos together and amassed an audience of over 1M subscribers and 20M views yearly.
Now, I've transitioned to more freelance projects to balance my time with other client work and my own content. I still work with Kyle from time to time, but now I work with other channels like Jimmy Zhang (1.7M subscribers) and O3 (200k subscribers) on their long-form YouTube content, as well as Social Media Directing with Patton Veterans Project, a government-funded veterans program, and event/set photography.
